The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) understands that access to quality public education is a right, not a privilege, and is essential for lifelong success. Therefore, LULAC stands firmly against any policy or measure that attempts to deny this right, including those affecting immigrant children.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is strongly advocating for bipartisan comprehensive and humanitarian immigration reform legislation. A comprehensive and humanitarian immigration reform is integral to the health, welfare, and economic success of the United States

Economic Development and Labor

The League wholeheartedly supports the Congressional efforts to combat unemployment rates at a federal level. This is particularly beneficial for the Latino community, who faces a unique set of professional opportunities and challenges.

Civil Rights

LULAC is committed to protecting and advancing civil rights for the Latino community. We are dedicated to introducing legislation that safeguards Latinos from discrimination, guaranteeing their access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities, as well as ensuring a just and equitable path to citizenship.

Democracy and Voting Rights

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is committed to protecting and advancing the civil rights of all communities. We wholeheartedly support the language of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and any effort to ensure that all individuals can exercise their right to vote in secret.

LULAC is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the U.S.
