LULAC loses a distinguished family member

Washington, DC – The League of United Latin American Citizens, the oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization in the country, National President Rosa Rosales sends her condolences to the families of those who were killed in yesterday’s horrific shooting at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas.

“We are saddened to hear that we have lost a LULAC family member today. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We hope that the Pentagon, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security, will continue working on this case to ensure that Fort Hood and all our military installations are safe and will continue to support the Fort Hood community during this time of tragedy.”
